I have in my life one such person, who by the very tap of his orange colored tank has me and many others dance for joy bringing his smile and warmth to the masses.
Santa Claus you say??
Nah … better than Santa.
He’s Javeed, who sells gas tanks called butanos that are filled with gas, providing heat in the winter to shivering, shaking customers.
You see, sunny Barcelona, during the winter, can get mighty cold.
Yes, there are many apartment buildings that have not yet converted to a gas line.
So … a person like Javeed is very, VERY important.
Today, I post some pictures of the butano guy, as we fondly call him, with his boatload of orange butanos and his friendly, endearing, charming smile.
In the next few days, I will upload a video and maybe a wav file of him, providing of course, if my internet service will LET ME!!
